The stylists at D’s Hair Creations in Onslow offer a relaxed and friendly hair service for the men, women and children in and around the Guildford area.  Our beautiful salon is based in the quaint village of Onslow, just 10 minutes from the centre of Guildford.

We want you to feel completely comfortable while you are with us as you enjoy our exceptional hair services.  You will receive a warm welcome and can enjoy a selection of beverages as we work our magic on your hair.

Meet The Team 

Dee

Anyone who has visited D's Hair Creations will no doubt have met and chatted to our lovely owner Dee Taylor.  Dee began her career as an apprentice aged 16 working for an internationally renowned hair group.  She worked there for five and a half years before going travelling to Spain where her career took some unexpected turns - leading Dee to work in a circus, as a model, as an actress, and to do a degree in Business & Leisure!  Her modelling career took her to many exciting places including three years in Turkey.

Throughout this time, Dee always kept her hand in by doing hair for her friends and family.  She spent several years working in a salon and as a mobile hairdresser in the UK.  Then, in 2000 she bought D's Hair Creations and has not looked back since. 

Which hairstyles do you love creating? It's hard to choose my favourite aspect.  I love colouring and cutting and a good blow dry.  I can also do men's hair, having trained at a barbers to do clipper cuts. 

What do you love about your job? I absolutely love what I do. I love being sociable and creating gorgeous hair for my clients.  

How would you describe yourself in 3 words? Fun, passionate and a bit bonkers!

Tell us something about yourself that might surprise others.  When I was younger I travelled to Spain and joined the circus!  I also spent five years as a model for the Top Models agency.

Say hello to our wonderful Senior Stylist Rebecca, also known as Becky.  She has more than 25 years' experience in the hairdressing industry, starting her career at the age of 14.

Which hairstyles do you love creating?  I love working with long hair and doing foils to create gorgeous highlights.

What do you love about your job?  I love meeting new people. Someone always has a story to tell and I learn a lot from my clients.

Who inspires you to create great hair?  My clients inspire me to do my job well.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?  A chatty, good listener.

Tell us something about yourself.  I love to look good and keep fit.

Meet our lovely Senior Stylist Sue who has been working within the industry for more than 30 years, starting as an apprentice when she was 29. 

Which hairstyles do you love creating?  I find our more mature clients interesting and absolutely lovely so I love doing a shampoo and set, perms and cutting their hair. I am a caring person and will work with older clients to understand their needs. 

What do you love about hairdressing?  I love the social side of hairdressing.

Who inspires you to create great hair?  My clients inspire me.  I love working hard to achieve their desires so they leave the salon feeling happy.

What is your ultimate ambition?  I am looking forward to retiring and starting a new chapter.

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?  Manic, chatty, kind.

Tell us something about you that might surprise others.  I am a dab hand at golf!

Meet Stanley who is our owner Dee's gorgeous French Bulldog.  Stanley occasionally visits the salon and would love it if you said hello!  Dee's 'partner in crime', Stanley is very polite and will be happy to see you.
